Jumbo Floating Pellets for Large Koi

Microbe-Lift Legacy Big Bites is a large-pellet koi pond food formulated for mature koi that have outgrown standard-diameter pellets. At 11.5 mm, these floating pellets are sized to match the mouth of large koi over 20" (50 cm), allowing efficient feeding in a single bite rather than multiple passes at a smaller pellet.

Full-Sized Nutrition for Full-Sized Fish

Feeding large koi on standard-size pellets means multiple small bites per pellet, less efficient for the fish and messier for the pond. Big Bites 11.5 mm delivers 36% crude protein in a single large floating pellet that mature koi can take in one motion, reducing surface agitation, feed waste, and uneaten pellet accumulation on the pond floor. Stabilised Vitamin C supports immune health and the formula won't cloud water regardless of pond size or fish count.

How to Use

Feed Big Bites when water temperatures are above 10°C (50°F). Feed 3 to 5 times per week, offering only what large koi can consume within 5 minutes. Because pellets are sized for large fish, avoid using in ponds where fish under 12" (30 cm) make up a significant portion of the population, smaller fish cannot consume 11.5 mm pellets effectively. For mixed-size ponds, feed Big Bites separately from smaller pellets to avoid competition.

Ideal for mature koi ponds with fish over 20" (50 cm), dedicated jumbo koi collections, and any pond where large fish are consistently leaving standard-size pellets behind uneaten.
