Diaphragm Assembly Set for Airmax KoiAir 1 (KA20)
When a KA20 aerator's diaphragm develops micro-tears or loses elasticity, air output drops below the level your pond needs. The symptom is usually subtle at first: slightly fewer bubbles at the diffuser, then noticeably reduced output, then near-complete failure. This replacement diaphragm assembly set includes all seals and components to restore the KoiAir 1 KA20 to its original air delivery capacity, without replacing the full aerator unit.
| Compatible With | Airmax KoiAir 1 (KA20) aerator |
|---|---|
| Kit Contents | Diaphragm assembly, all seals and replacement components |
| Replace When | Air output is noticeably reduced; diffuser bubbles decreased from baseline |
| Service Interval | Every 2 to 3 years under normal use, or as needed |
How to Replace
Unplug and disconnect the aerator from the airline. Open the compressor housing per the KA20 service manual. Remove the worn diaphragm assembly and inspect the housing chamber for debris or moisture before installing the new assembly. Reassemble and run the aerator, checking diffuser output to confirm air delivery is restored to normal levels.
Fits the Airmax KoiAir 1 KA20 aerator only. This is the most economical way to extend the service life of a KA20 when output drops but the aerator body is otherwise in good condition.
