Airmax SW20 Aeration System, 115V, 2.5 CFM with 200 ft Airline

The SW20 is a complete shallow-water aeration system built for ponds and lakes up to 1/2 acre and 6 ft (1.8 m) deep. The LR Series linear diaphragm compressor delivers 2.5 CFM of air through 200 ft (61 m) of 3/8" EasySet airline to a diffuser placed at the pond bottom, circulating the water column and maintaining dissolved oxygen levels for fish health year-round.

Designed for Shallow Pond Aeration

Standard deep-water aeration systems are inefficient in shallow ponds because the short water column limits oxygen transfer per bubble. The SW20 is matched to shallow-water conditions where 2.5 CFM creates effective circulation without over-aerating or causing cold upwelling that disrupts fish in winter. The linear diaphragm compressor runs quietly and draws low power on continuous duty.

Installation

Mount the compressor in a dry, sheltered location above the waterline. Run airline to the diffuser and place the diffuser at the deepest point in the pond. Run the system continuously. In winter, keep the compressor in an insulated housing above the ice line. The aeration will prevent freeze-over in the diffuser zone, which is beneficial for winter fish survival. Replace the intake filter annually.

Ideal for shallow residential ponds, ornamental water features, and small farm ponds up to 1/2 acre and 6 ft (1.8 m) depth requiring quiet, low-power continuous aeration.
