Key Handle Assembly for Aqua UV Ultima II, 1.5" Multi-Port Valve
The key handle assembly is the lever and internal linkage that controls which mode your Ultima II filter operates in: filter, backwash, waste, rinse, or bypass. When the handle cracks, develops play in the shaft, or no longer seats cleanly at each position, mode selection becomes unreliable. This OEM replacement restores precise, positive operation across all valve positions.

Installation
Close the main drain valve and confirm no water pressure remains in the system. Remove the mounting bolt (typically a 1/4" socket head cap screw) from the valve body. Slide the old handle assembly off the shaft. Align the new assembly onto the shaft so the keyway seats fully into the matching slot. Reinstall and tighten the mounting bolt.
Operational Check
Turn through all positions: Filter, Backwash, Waste, Rinse, and Bypass. Each position should have a clean detent with no roughness or skipping. If the handle catches or feels gritty, remove it and check the valve shaft and keyway for debris before reinstalling.
