White Spider Gasket for Aqua UV Ultima II, 1.5" Valve (Updated Style)
Aqua UV updated the Ultima II spider gasket to a white nitrile compound in later production runs. The white gasket uses an upgraded rubber formulation with better UV resistance and compression-set stability compared to the original black design. If your Ultima II filter has the newer white gasket and it's showing signs of cracking, hardening, or slow weeping at the valve stem, this is the correct OEM replacement.

When to Replace
Leaks at the valve stem, water weeping during backwash cycles, or a gasket that appears discoloured or cracked all indicate replacement is due. White spider gaskets typically last 8 to 12 years but degrade faster in continuous-run systems or where pond chemistry is aggressive.
Installation
Depressurize the filter completely before opening the valve housing. Remove the old gasket by prying gently with a flat tool, taking care not to gouge the mounting surface. Clean the seat of any adhesive residue or debris. Apply a thin bead of rubber gasket adhesive to the new white spider gasket and press it firmly into place. Allow 24 hours for the adhesive to cure before reactivating the system.
Note: this is the updated white gasket. If your Ultima II uses the original black spider gasket, order part AU-RP-A50047 instead.
