Destroys Chloramine and Removes Ammonia, Reliably, Every Time
Hikari ClorAm-X uses a patented buffered molecule to neutralise chloramine, then separately removes the free ammonia and chlorine that remain after the chloramine bond is broken. Most water conditioners simply bind ammonia, but ClorAm-X eliminates it, so your biological filtration does not have to race against a clock. The 4 oz. (118 mL) bottle treats up to 600 gallons (2,271 L) in aquarium applications.

Compatibility note: Do not use with permanganate-based or chlorite-based treatments. Nessler's ammonia tests will read falsely high; Winkler dissolved-oxygen tests will read falsely low when ClorAm-X is present.
