The Aquascape AquaBasin 45x Pump Access Panel is a purpose-built removable lid section for the AquaBasin 45x underground pondless waterfall reservoir. It creates a dedicated service opening above the pump cavity, making it possible to remove or clean the pump, check plumbing connections, and install auto-fill devices without excavating the surrounding hardscape or plantings.

How to Use
The access panel fits into the designated opening in the AquaBasin 45x lid during reservoir assembly, before backfilling and rock placement. Once the surrounding landscape is finished, lift the access panel cover to reach the pump, auto-fill valve, and plumbing connections. For cold-weather shut-down in climates with frost, use the access panel to remove the submersible pump, clean and dry it, and store it in a frost-free location. Reinstall in spring once the risk of hard frost has passed.
