The Aquascape AquaJet 1300 (G2) Water Chamber Cover Kit is a factory replacement water chamber lid for second-generation AquaJet 1300 submersible pond pumps. The water chamber cover seals the impeller cavity from the motor section; a damaged or missing cover reduces pumping efficiency and can allow fine grit to migrate toward the motor bearing.
Protect the Impeller Cavity With an OEM Replacement
The water chamber is the pressurised section of the pump where the impeller accelerates water toward the discharge. Its cover maintains the boundary between the wet impeller side and the motor housing, and any compromise in that boundary reduces both flow rate and motor service life. How to Use
Remove the pump from the water and disconnect from power. Open the pump housing to access the water chamber cover. Remove the existing cover and O-ring. Clean the cover mating surface on the pump body thoroughly. Seat the new O-ring from the kit into the groove, ensuring it lies flat without twists. Fit the new water chamber cover, aligning the retaining tabs, and secure until all clips are fully engaged. Test in a bucket of water before resubmerging.
