Clarify Murky Pond Water Without an Automatic Dosing System

Aquascape Clear for Ponds SL (32 oz / 946 mL) is a standalone (SL) pond water clarifier and flocculant that is applied directly to pond water by hand. It binds fine suspended particles, including clay, algae spores, and organic micro-particles, causing them to clump and either settle to the pond floor or be captured by the mechanical filter, restoring water transparency without requiring an automatic dosing unit.

Direct-Application Clarity for Any Pond

Not every pond owner has an automatic dosing system, but all ponds benefit from consistent clarification treatment when turbidity develops. Clear for Ponds SL provides the same clarifying action as the XT version in a direct pour-in format. The SL designation means it can be used in any pond on any schedule the owner chooses, with no additional equipment required beyond a measuring cup. The 32 oz bottle is a practical single-pond supply for a mid-season clarification course.

Specification Value
Volume 946 mL (32 oz)
Formula Type Standalone (SL) water clarifier and flocculant
Application Method Direct pour-in (no dosing system required)
Safe For Koi, goldfish, aquatic plants, wildlife

How to Use

Apply Clear for Ponds SL directly to the pond near the waterfall or highest-flow area for rapid distribution. Follow the dosage rate on the product label for your pond volume. For best results, apply in the morning so that flocculated particles settle during the day when the filter is running at peak efficiency. Do not apply alongside activated carbon filter media, as carbon will adsorb the flocculant. Allow 24 to 48 hours after application before assessing clarity improvement.

Ideal for ponds experiencing episodic turbidity from clay soil disturbance, algae bloom crashes, or seasonal tannin influx, where direct manual treatment is preferred over automated dosing.
