Create Long, Watertight Seams in EPDM Pond Liner
Aquascape EPDM Double-Sided Seam Tape (7.6 cm x 30.5 m / 3 in x 100 ft) is a butyl rubber adhesive tape with adhesive on both faces, used to bond two overlapping sections of EPDM pond liner or to seal liner joints in ponds, pondless waterfalls, and stream channels. The double-sided construction bonds both liner surfaces simultaneously when pressed together, creating a single-step, permanent watertight seam that eliminates the need for liquid sealants.
Permanent, Watertight EPDM Liner Bonding in One Step
EPDM pond liner seams are the most vulnerable points in any liner installation; a poorly bonded seam will eventually fail under hydraulic pressure, soil movement, or thermal cycling. This butyl rubber tape is specifically formulated for EPDM-to-EPDM bonding and provides a flexible, UV-resistant seam that moves with the liner without cracking. The 30.5 m (100 ft) roll provides sufficient seam tape for large single-span seams or for multiple shorter seams across a complex installation.

How to Use
Clean both EPDM surfaces at the seam with Aquascape EPDM Surface Prep and allow to dry fully. Apply Aquascape EPDM Tape Primer to both surfaces and allow to become tacky (approximately 10 to 15 minutes at 20°C / 68°F). Apply the double-sided seam tape to one liner surface with the release paper facing up. Remove the release paper and carefully fold or press the second liner section onto the tape, beginning at one end and working toward the other to avoid air bubbles. Roll the seam firmly with a hand roller for full adhesion.
Ideal for creating factory-quality EPDM pond liner seams in new pond installations, stream channel builds, and liner repairs where two sections of EPDM liner must be permanently and watertightly bonded.
