Versatile Mid-Stage Media for General Pond Filtration
Where pond load is moderate and a three-stage setup is not practical, the medium-density mat handles both roles adequately. It captures more fine particulate than low-density foam while providing better bacterial surface area than high-density. In a two-mat setup, pair it with a high-density coarse mat upstream and a low-density bio mat downstream for a complete three-stage system in a standard two-chamber housing.

How to Use
Place mid-stream in the filter housing, after any coarse pre-filter media. Rinse every 3 to 5 weeks in pond water to clear accumulated solids. Avoid tap water to preserve beneficial bacteria. Replace annually or when the mat compresses permanently.
