Applications
Autumn leaf control is the primary use: stretched over the pond surface from early October to late November, the net prevents leaves from sinking to the bottom where they decompose and generate hydrogen sulphide harmful to overwintering fish. Secondary uses include heron barrier (when supported above the water surface on stakes or frames), predator exclusion during hatching season, and debris control during construction or landscaping work near the pond.
Installation
Roll out the required length, cut with scissors or a utility knife, and tension over the pond edge using rocks, stakes, or pond net pegs. For large ponds, install the net in overlapping sections.
