The Atlantic Water Gardens Biopress 2400 replacement bucket is the main housing body for the Oase Biopress 2400 pressurised pond filter — the largest model in the Biopress series, rated for ponds up to 24,000 litres (6,300 gallons) with UV. Replacing a damaged bucket body at fraction of full-unit cost preserves the UV assembly, lid, and media investment while restoring the filter to full pressurised operation.

The Biopress 2400 serves large koi ponds and heavily stocked water gardens that require substantial mechanical and biological filtration with UV treatment. The larger bucket volume provides more media surface area for biological colonisation — a media bed that represents months of bacterial maturation. Replacing only the bucket when it cracks or fails from freeze-thaw damage preserves this mature biological filter bed, which would otherwise be lost if the entire unit were replaced and the media discarded. Transfer media carefully to the new bucket to maintain biological capacity.

How to Replace
Shut down the filter and disconnect all plumbing and power. Remove the lid and carefully transfer all media from the old bucket to the new one, minimising disruption to maintain biological colonies. Transfer the UV assembly. Reassemble with existing clamps, lid, and seals if they are in serviceable condition. Test under full operating pressure for leaks before returning to service.
