The Atlantic Water Gardens Eco-Blox Panel A is a single modular water matrix panel measuring 16 inches by 27 inches (40.6 × 68.6 cm). Eco-Blox panels are the structural building blocks of underground water storage reservoirs used beneath fountain basins, pondless waterfall basins, and decorative water features. By filling excavated basin voids with interlocking Eco-Blox panels rather than leaving them open, you dramatically increase the structural support capacity of the basin cover while maintaining full water storage volume below.
How Eco-Blox Works
Traditional buried fountain basins use a simple open excavation or a reservoir tank. The Eco-Blox system replaces open soil voids with a rigid, interlocking plastic matrix that can support vehicle loads, heavy foot traffic, and the weight of large decorative rock lids — while retaining up to 95% of the original void volume as water storage. This makes Eco-Blox essential for installations in driveways, paths, and commercial landscapes where surface load capacity is a requirement.
Panel Specifications
Individual Panel A units are sold as singles for custom basin sizing. Multiple panels interlock to fill any basin footprint. Compatible with the Eco-Blox Small Water Matrix boxed set for larger installations, and with the full range of Atlantic Water Gardens rock lids, fountain basins, and waterfall components.
