The Atlantic Water Gardens replacement bulb for the CC24 ColorFalls is a single LED bulb assembly for the 24-inch colour-changing ColorFalls spillway — sold without a transformer for situations where only the LED has failed and the existing transformer is still in good working condition. If the transformer is functioning normally, replacing only the bulb is the most cost-effective repair option.
Bulb-Only When the Transformer Is Fine
LED failures and transformer failures have distinctly different symptoms. If the transformer's indicator light is on and the output voltage checks correctly with a multimeter, the transformer is not at fault — the LED has failed and only the bulb needs replacement. Purchasing the bulb-only option saves money compared to the full bulb-and-transformer kit in these cases. If the transformer is also aged or shows signs of moisture infiltration, purchase the full kit for a complete simultaneous replacement.

How to Replace
Verify the transformer is functioning correctly before ordering this bulb-only option. Remove the CC24 from service and disconnect power. Access the LED housing per the disassembly guide and replace the bulb. Reconnect to the existing transformer and test full colour output and cycling before reinstalling the ColorFalls in the waterfall. Inspect the bulb housing seal for moisture infiltration during the service.
