The Atlantic Water Gardens Desert rock lid is a moulded fiberglass basin cover crafted to replicate the appearance of sun-weathered desert sandstone, with warm tan and ochre tones, subtle layered stratification lines, and a naturally aged surface texture. At 24 × 24 × 5 inches (61 × 61 × 12.7 cm), it conceals the opening of an underground fountain basin or Eco-Blox reservoir while allowing water to return through the rock's natural-looking recesses and gaps — rendering the entire water recirculation system completely invisible.
Finish & Appearance
The Desert finish features earthy warm tones that coordinate naturally with sandstone flagging, buff limestone edging, terracotta planters, and dryland garden planting schemes. The 5-inch profile gives it convincing depth and three-dimensional presence when viewed from ground level. UV-stable pigmentation maintains colour integrity through seasons of direct sun exposure without fading to grey or bleaching unevenly.
Construction & Load Capacity
Manufactured from reinforced fiberglass, the rock lid is rigid enough to support decorative stones and heavy plant containers placed on and around it. It is not rated for vehicle or heavy equipment loads — for those applications, install Eco-Blox panels beneath the basin for additional structural support.
