Compact Submersible Drainage Pump for Residential and Light Commercial Use
The DAB Nova 200 MNA is a 1/3 HP submersible pump for clear water drainage in basements, cisterns, garden tanks, and pond applications. It draws water down to within 10 mm (3/8") of the floor — close enough to empty a sump or tank without leaving standing water behind. The MNA designation means manual operation: you control it with a timer or external switch rather than a float.
Built to Run
DAB introduced the Nova 200 over 40 years ago and redesigned it in 2019. The pump body, impeller, and suction grille are all technopolymer — lightweight, corrosion-resistant, and inert to pond water chemistry. The motor sits in a hermetically sealed stainless steel casing with triple-stage sealing and an oil bath to keep water out of motor components. Permanently lubricated oversized ball bearings keep noise and vibration low through continuous operation.

Installation
Lower the pump into the sump, cistern, or pond and connect discharge hose to the NPT outlet. Connect to a timer or manual switch rather than a float. For pond use, pair with a float switch or controller to automate operation. Thermal overload protection shuts the motor down if it runs hot and restarts automatically when it cools.
Ideal for basement sump pits, cistern emptying, pond drainage, and light commercial dewatering where manual or timer-controlled operation is preferred.
