EasyPro Bead filter - 6000 gallon maximum

Pressurized Pond Filter for Ponds Up to 6,000 gal (22,710 L)

The EasyPro PBF6000 Pressurized Bead Filter delivers mechanical and biological filtration for koi ponds, water gardens, hybrid ponds, and fish systems up to 6,000 gal (22,710 L). Beneficial bacteria colonise the included Ultimate Tube Media, breaking down fish-toxic ammonia and keeping water clear and healthy for koi and goldfish year-round.

Efficient Filtration with Easy Backflushing

The heavy-duty polyethylene body withstands freeze-thaw cycles and UV exposure season after season. A six-position control head makes backflushing straightforward: rotate the valve, run until the clear waste-line indicator shows clean water, then return to filter mode. Ultimate Tube Media creates minimal back pressure, so your pump runs at full efficiency. Includes 3 cu. ft. of Ultimate Tube Media and 2" inlet/outlet unions for easy plumbing.

How to Install

Connect the 2" inlet to your pump outlet and the outlet to your waterfall or return line. Mount the filter outside the pond at or below water level. Backflush weekly during peak season or whenever flow rate drops: rotate the control head to backwash, run for 2 to 3 minutes until the sight glass clears, then return to filter position. Rinse mode can follow for a final flush before returning to service.

Ideal for koi ponds and water gardens up to 6,000 gal (22,710 L) where clear water and low fish-toxic ammonia are a priority through Canadian spring, summer, and fall seasons.
