The Oase Biotec 36 / 32000 water intake distributor spreads incoming pond water evenly across all filtration stages inside the filter. Without proper distribution, water channels through one section of the media while leaving the rest underutilised — reducing both mechanical and biological filtration capacity.
Maximises Media Contact
The distributor's multi-port design divides the incoming stream into several smaller flows, each directed to a different zone of the filter chamber. This ensures the full volume of foam, bio-media, and Phosless media is working at all times, rather than a fraction of it. Replacing a cracked or clogged distributor can noticeably improve water clarity.

Installation
Shut off the pump and drain the filter to access the inlet area. Remove the old distributor by disconnecting it from the inlet port. Seat the new distributor, reconnect the inlet hose, and refill the filter. Restart the pump and verify water exits all ports evenly by watching the flow pattern inside the open filter.
