Base Seal Cap for Larger FiltoClear Pressure Filters
The Oase FiltoClear 5200 / 8200 (gen 3) bottom end cap seals the base of the filter housing, maintaining the internal pressure required for effective filtration. A cracked end cap causes water to leak from the bottom of the filter, dropping pressure and reducing throughput through the foam and UV stages.
Maintains Structural Integrity
The end cap is a load-bearing component that supports the weight of the media and water inside the filter. It is engineered to withstand continuous pump pressure and seasonal temperature swings. Replace it if you notice water pooling beneath the filter or if the cap shows visible cracks or deformation.

Installation
Drain and depressurise the filter completely. Invert or tilt the unit to access the bottom cap. Remove the old cap and inspect the sealing surface for debris. Seat the new cap with its gasket and secure it according to the factory method. Refill, pressurise, and check for leaks at the base.
