The Pondmaster 190 filter kit uses a two-stage mechanical filter: a coarse layer that traps larger debris and a foam layer that captures finer particles for improved clarity. This 2-pack replaces both stages simultaneously, restoring full mechanical filtration performance without sourcing each pad separately. Replace when flow through the filter drops noticeably or water clarity declines between cleanings.

How to Use
Remove existing pads and rinse the filter housing before inserting replacements. Install the coarse pad on the upstream side and the foam pad downstream. Rinse new pads in pond water before use, never in tap water. During heavy organic load periods, check and clean pads weekly. When rinsing no longer restores flow, replace both pads with a fresh set.
Fits the Pondmaster 190 Kit (product 02019) only. For continued availability, keep one replacement set on hand through the pond season.
